Final Shoot Complete!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made the video shoot such a resounding success!

Despite slightly windy conditions we managed a fantastic day of filming and got some great footage. Just some of the items involved in the final spelling are:

1 baby
An inordinate amount of wine bottles
A lovely dinner for two of delicious home made spaghetti dish (courtesy of the fabulous Mr. Carbone)
Many high heeled shoes
Lots of lacy naughty undies
1 wedding dress complete with ring
Hot dogs
1 real dog (warm and well trained)
Photo albums
Flowers
Wigs
Balloons...

The list goes on, you love it, we got it in there somewhere!

Pictures to follow and the video is now strewn across the cutting room floor being lovingly put back together in time for the release!

Hello lovers!

We have a final date for the shoot!

Saturday July 11th from 3PM to 7PM!

We'll provide a barbeque and a rooftop celebration after the shoot when we can all watch the sun go down with a nice cold beer! What better way to spend a Saturday than eating and drinking in the company of the people you love?

Please RSVP @ info@cariadharmon.com so we can get an idea of numbers and mark your calendars...bring along all the little tokens of your love for the letter building and keep your eyes peeled for updates on this page!

We're so looking forwards to finishing up our project in time for Cariads record release August 25th!

Never trust the weather forecast!

Well, I really hope all of you enjoyed the beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon that would have been perfect for shooting a music video!

We're yet to reschedule, but as soon as we've got a new date, we shall let you know.

Rain or Swine Flu

Looks like the weather forecast still says rain tomorrow, and it's getting worse :(

So, while standing on a rooftop in the rain, eating soggy hot dogs and putting all the things we love on the wet ground might add a nice dramatic twist to the video, it's not every one's idea of fun so we're gonna postpone the final loved up day of shooting till the weather looks brighter... 

It is my personal belief that the final date will be bigger, better and even more loved up with more of you lovely folks in town to join the fun!  We don't have a second date yet but watch this space and we would love all of you and more to come for love day #2!!!!

We'll keep you posted and look forwards to seeing you all and your well loved bits and pieces then!

Week Two!

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for week two of shooting! We ran from Dumbo to Prospect park, Uptown and back again, met some great folks and got some really great footage! Video blog to come...for now, here are some pics!

The Weather on Saturday

This is the current prediction. Hmmmm, not ideal for rooftop shenanigans. Keep your fingers crossed that L-O-V-E will make the sun come out. xx

Thanks to everyone who participated in weekend no. 2. Pictures and another video blog to follow shortly.

We had a fab Saturday running around the city filming and spent Sunday afternoon working out the details of May 2nd's Final Shoot day.

We will post more details of the final shoot times ASAP (it's likely to be from 2pm to 6pm) but in the meantime we need everyone to locate and bring the stuff they showed us + a few extra bits and pieces listed below if you have 'em...

Brightly colored plates
Sports kits (footballs, team shirts etc.)
Framed photo's/pictures
Brightly colored tea/coffee cups and mugs
Teddy bears
Engagement ring boxes (or something similar)
Short candles
Wellies – brightly colored ones
England shirt
LPs graphic covers (records)
DJ box for records
Cell Phones
Skateboard
Roller skates
Picnic hamper/basket
Underwear - any sexy lingerie
kids toys
dog toys
red shoes/fancy pair of shoes


We discovered that brightly colored things work wonderfully so please bear that in mind when bringing your bits and pieces.

Please pitch in and help us make the final shoot day as gorgeous as we know it can be!

May 2nd. Building the letters day.

As most of you know, May 2nd is the day we've put aside to build the letters L-O-V-E out of all the things we've filmed so far.

Plans are coming along and while we haven't as yet secured a location, or a second camera, we've got two weeks to do that, so we're confident things will fall into place.

If any of you know a camera person who might like to get involved, please pass their info along to us and we'll see if we can rope them in.

So PLEASE keep May 2nd free. Even if you can't make the whole day (shame on you!) we'd love to have you around whenever you can.

It'll be an easy day, mainly spent eating, drinking, making new friends, chatting, laughing, and arranging a few precious things on the ground. Sounds fun, eh?! Of course it will be, because you'll get to spend the day with us!
